Meet Our Coaches
Head Coach
Marc Morley
Coach Morley is a level 4 USA Hockey Certified Coach. Marc grew up in Upstate NY and played his minor hockey both in NY and Ontario, Canada. Marc played for the Canton Golden Bears in high school, and won 3 State Tournaments during his time on the team. He is currently the only boys hockey player in New York State to ever win 3 state titles. His senior year he was named MVP of New York State. Marc was a top-five blue-chip recruit for Division 1 lacrosse. He was an All American at the D1 level in lacrosse for the University of Massachusetts. He played both professional (indoor and outdoor) lacrosse leagues, and was a member of Team USA for indoor lacrosse in 2007. Marc has been coaching Minor hockey for the last 5 years and has been Head Coach at the 10U level.
Coach Morley has been coaching clinics for RedLine Academy and NextUp Hockey during Spring and Summer seasons for the last few years.
Marc's degree is in Sports Management, from the #1 Sports Management school in the country, UMass Amherst. He currently builds commercial and real-estate buildings. He has lived in Florida for 5 years. His wife Meg is the team manager, and he has 4 children; Ireland, Mick, Benji, and Ella.
Assistant Coach
David Fricchione
Coach Fricchione grew up in New Jersey, playing youth hockey for the NJ Rockets and the NJ Junior Devils, which placed 3rd in the AA National Championship during his Bantam year. He then played high school hockey for Trinity-Pawling, a member of the New England Prep School Founders League. During this time, he was twice selected to represent team Mid-Atlantic at the Hockey Night in Boston Showcase Tournament and attended the US National Select 17 Camp. David then received an appointment to the US Military Academy at West Point after being recruited to play Division 1 hockey. He also played Junior A for the Granite State Stars of the EJHL. David went on to play hockey at Rochester Institute of Technology until multiple shoulder surgeries cut his college playing career short. When asked what his most memorable hockey experience was, he described playing for the Golden Blades AAA Select Team, run by Ben Leuzzi, that traveled to Boston, Toronto and Montreal during the summers, and what has ultimately led him to want to provide that type of experience to the youth players of South Florida.
David holds an MA in Mathematics of Finance from Columbia University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from RIT. He is currently the head of Research and Portfolio Manager at Lab Quantitative Strategies, an investment firm based out of Denver, CO. He has spent 3 years as an adjunct professor in the Master of Finance program at FAU and the last 2 years as an assistant 10U hockey coach. David lives in Palm City, FL with his wife and two children, Sofia and David.
Assistant Coach
Joe Pace
Coach Pace is a Northbrook, IL native. He began his professional playing career in the UHL for the Rockford Icehogs and spent the next several years playing in the CHL, IHL and SPHL. He has amassed 101 points in 347 games played. Highlights of his career include winning the RBC Championship in 2005 with the Weyburn Red Wings, and back-to-back trips to the FHL finals in his 2013-14 (W) and 2014-15 (L) seasons.
Coach Pace is also currently the Head Coach for the Mississippi Seawolves. He resides in Biloxi, MS with his wife Allie and their three children; Scout, Piper, and Will.
